Playing with prints is one of my favorite things about summer fashion. While mixing prints in your clothes is a bold move for your everyday look, you may be interested in a more subtle approach. The answer lies with printed accessories, particularly bangles!
Take a delicate, abstract floral top like this adorable L'Wren Scott pussy-bow blouse and pair with a cute mini in a coordinating color. Now you can make the look a bit more playful by not only adding a new color into the mix, but a new print as well!
This precious polka dot painted bangle along with matching ribbon-wrapped bracelets will give your look texture and variety. Not to mention, polka dots will also add a touch of vintage pin-up flair! With gold teardrop earrings and a neutral bag and shoe, the look is pulled together nicely and neatly.

Red Carpet: Rashida Jones in Erdem
JUNE 5, 2013
Rashida Jones attends her best friend’s sleepover wearing.... Wait no, I must be confused, but who wouldn’t be? I can’t believe that anyone could make this fashion misstep. Rule number 1: if you get out of bed and can’t tell that you have, you should probably change your look.
This set of pieces is from the Erdem Pre-Fall 2013 collection and the print isn’t hideous. I actually find it quite charming, and the pants on their own would be cute with, let’s face it, any other top. The shoes are dated though, and her bangs are stringy. I hate to say these things.
I love Rashida! Who couldn't? Once she gets back to bed I’m sure she’ll sleep this one off.

Blogger Love: Molliee of Twirly Skirts
JUNE 4, 2013
I feel seriously envious over this beautiful outfit by Molliee of Twirly Skirts! Ccontrasting a taupe knit sweater with a mint INPINK chain necklace is simple and incredibly chic. Subdued hues like browns or nudes are the perfect canvas for bright, or even neon accessories. Take a peek at Twirly Skirts for more style ideas and fashion forward looks!

Red Carpet: Uma Thurman in Dior
JUNE 3, 2013
This is definitely her dress! Uma Thurman looks flawless and wonderfully confident in a white, floor-length gown at the American Ballet Theatre opening night Spring Gala. This Dior piece is well designed, subtly avant garde, and a fantastic choice for the 43-year-old actress and mother. I’m especially enamoured with the pleating around the bust and the plunging slit in the neckline. The snug fit also lets us know Uma still loves her figure and can be just as sexy as her Kill Bill days, if not sexier!

Niquita's Nabs: Giuseppe Zanotti Cap-Toe Pumps
MAY 31, 2013
A few weeks ago I saw Selena Gomez in these cap-toe Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and I couldn’t get them out of my head. This gorgeous set is part of the Fall 2013 and so lovely! Where do I begin?
The leopard print against cobalt blue is unconventional and so forward feeling. I’ve always loved pieces that managed to be quirky and aesthetically appealing in the same moment! If you’re lucky enough to nab a pair of these gorgeous pumps, take a page from Selena’s book and wear them with a crisp blazer and pant. A tassel necklaces and some bangles would compliment perfectly!

Red Carpet: Nicole Kidman in Chanel
MAY 29, 2013
Nicole Kidman attends the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Chanel and Louboutin. She brought her best accessory: a smile, but it's not enough to save this look!
I don't mean for this to sound catty, and I promise that it's not, but the quickest way for an older but still gorgeous actress to draw attention to her age is to work against it. Looking at this dress with its awkward side cleavage and shiny fabric I could only wonder: is she young enough to pull that off?
I'm also searching for clues in these photos to see if it was actually windy, or Nicole was just sporting a very unflattering feathery bouffant to match the hemline of this dress.

Blogger Love: Amber of Real Girl Glam
MAY 28, 2013
The Leather Wrapped Chain Necklaces that came into INPINK’s collection a few months ago have been amongst my favorite pieces this season. Now, I’ve seen so many bloggers wear them with everything from florals, to stripes, and leather, it seems I’m not the only one! Check out Amber of Real Girl Glam using this striking necklace and a pair of gold BCBG shoes to take her pretty spring look to the next level!

Red Carpet: Lea Michele
MAY 27, 2013
Lea Michele of Glee dons Alon Livne to the The Beverly Hilton pool redesign in California. I'm not usually a fan of Lea Michele's fashion choices but I really like her here. This warm taupe dress looks wonderful against her tan skin and the white Fendi clutch is on the mark. Also, wearing her hair down and super sleek was a smart choice and kept this look from feeling too old or formal. Even a young actress might've been aged by the slightly dated cut of this gown!
What about some more jewelry, though? A set of gold bangles would've echoed the gold detailing of this dress and added spunk to a pretty, but safe ensemble.

Spring Fashion Trends: Romantic Dresses
MAY 24, 2013
Quirky, ironic, and avant garde fashion is truly a sign of the times (thank you Lady Gaga)! I live in a college town so the streets are inundated with the latest colors, trends, and girls trying to out innovate everyone else.
It’s made me a bit nostalgic. No more hipster shades and no more neon (though again, I adore both)! Once in awhile it's nice to pay homage to the “fashion classics” and wear something unabashedly feminine, simple, and chic: a lovely, romantic little dress.
This is a piece which has enough embellishments to be interesting, but is simple enough to let the beauty of a woman shine. I adore shorter dresses that flash a touch of leg with tiered hemlines, or touches of lace. After that soft makeup, simple studs, and comfortable pumps (or flats) are all you need!
