Zaneta "Z" Artist, singer-songwriter and leader of the polyjamorous band A.F.R.O.B.A.M. - A Few Rockin' Out Bad Ass Musicians, is known for her ability to bring together talented musicians and create unforgettable performances. With a keen ear for unique sounds and a passion for collaboration, she assembles diverse groups of musicians who share her vision of blending genres and creating powerful, emotionally charged music. 

The DC native has encompassed the different musical sounds of the city. From being influenced by Hip-Hop, Soul, Gospel, Rock, West African, Funk and of course the music of DC, Go-Go, Z has an alternative sound that can span across different genres. With her vast musical capacity, thirst for the energy of live music and years of band experience, she decided to test her limits and create A.F.R.O.B.A.M. in September 2023.
