Bio
Asenath Rose is a Maryland-born singer-songwriter located in Annapolis. She performs intricately-written folk songs, enthusiastically accompanying herself with acoustic guitar. Rose’s work explores themes of the joys and sorrows of holding close to you what is desperate to slip away. Her songs are informed by the 1970s folk scene as well as female-fronted contemporary indie rock, such as Boygenius and Big Thief.
