Bio
Emily Mikesell is a trumpeter and composer based in Los Angeles. She’s played with artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Lonnie Holley, and Neal Francis in addition to leading her band Smiloh. She lived in New Orleans for 8 years where she played regularly with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and Trumpet Mafia.
