I got into photography and videography back when I was studying Design in Brazil. As a kid who spent a lot of time alone while my parents were working, I naturally developed an eye for detail. I used to wander around my garden and neighborhood, observing everything through the quiet lens of an introverted kid. That’s where my love for capturing images really started.

Later on, I went to Film School and completely fell in love with videography and documentaries. One of my proudest moments was producing a short film in Brazil that was shown at Cinesystem in Rio. It’s a well-known theater chain in the country, and having a project screened there felt like a big step as a filmmaker.

In 2018, I opened my own karaoke business and did pretty much everything myself. I hosted, set up the equipment, created all the flyers, and also took care of photographing and filming every night. I wanted people to really feel what it was like to be there. That visual storytelling ended up bringing me more gigs and helped me develop my own unique style.

Eventually, I started working with bands in NYC and now in LA too. I love filming live music and capturing the energy of a show. Since I'm also a musician, I have a special sensitivity to the little moments onstage, like a guitar solo or a drum fill, and I make sure not to miss them.

Right now, I work as a videographer and producer for a YouTube channel called PlayBug Kids. We teach children English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and in one year we reached 50k subscribers. I also work closely with singer-songwriter Lua de Morais as her official videographer. She told me she loves how dynamic my camera work is and how I pay attention to every detail onstage. I just really care about telling the full story of a performance.
