Cathy DiToro is a musician from the DC area. She writes and performs her own music under the name "DiToro", and sings full-time with cover bands The Legwarmers, Party Like It’s, and So Fetch, performing both locally and nationally. A self-professed “nostalgia addict,” Cathy is heavily influenced by the sounds and styles of the 80s & 90s, and has been making mix tapes since she knew how to work a radio. You can often find her (and her pup, Pico!) , performing around the DMV, whether it be acoustically, DJing, or with one of her bands. She is the founder of Project HERA - a 501c(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting, empowering, and celebrating women in music of all ages. Since 2017, Project HERA has hosted multiple "HERA Festivals," and currently produces a show called "Lilith Fest," of all female musicians, tributing Lilith Fair - Sarah McLachlan's music festival from the 90s. As a former high school counselor, Cathy is an advoate for mental health first and foremost, and believes music and mental wellness can go hand in hand. She is passionate about helping the youth through music therapy.
