d.e.y. is just two fools from Texas trying to bring their synthy synergy to the City of Angels. Originally hailing from Houston, Texas as the band Space Kiddettes, Trent Lira and Devin Will made a name for themselves as “Space City’s favorite pop delinquents,” drawing inspiration from absurdist new wave acts and captivating audiences with their high-energy performances, quirky coordinated costumes, and commitment to uplifting queer talent. Over the years, they’ve shared stages with breakthrough acts like The Aquadolls, Dorian Electra, Slayyyter, and more—earning features in NPR Music, MTV News BOP SHOP, Texas Monthly, and QUEERTY, as well as earning the title (after 6 nominations in a row) of 2022's FAVORITE BAND in Outsmart Magazine's GAYEST AND GREATEST readers poll.

Now, Trent and Devin turn the page to their next chapter with d.e.y., a new project born from nearly a decade of collaboration. Blending atmospheric textures with driving synth energy, d.e.y. brings a fresh perspective to indie and electronic pop—think George Clanton, HATCHIE, Superorganism, Kero Kero Bonito, and Magdalena Bay.
