Thalia Sophia is a singer-songwriter and recording artist with a culturally mixed background. With an immigrant mom from Germany and a Chicano dad, Thalia draws musical influences that are as diverse as she is. Having been born in Miami, she aims to create unique fusions of sounds that are equally culturally mixed. Growing up, she was influenced by many different styles of music, from old school reggaeton and cumbia, to European pop, to chill blues and reggae.

Thalia won a number of awards in musical theatre and competed in the internationally televised singing competition, La Voz Kids. She decided to take a quick detour in her music career when she was offered a full ride scholarship to complete her B.S. on a pre-medical track. However, it wasn’t long until she was back on stage, performing at the Gloria Estefan's Restaurant. With her music, she aspires to create a cultural bridge by blending languages, genres, and styles.
